Will MCA extend relaxation of additional fees for filing e-forms?

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) had recently announced relaxations for late filing of e-forms in respect of the financial year ending 31 March 2020. The relaxation was announced on 28 January 2021 in light of multiple representations made to the MCA seeking extension due to Covid-19.

MCA announces relaxation of additional fees for filing e-forms

MCA’s official circular stated that no additional fees should be levied for e-forms (AOC-4, AOC-4 CFS, AOC-4 XBRL, AOC-4 Non-XBRL) filed till 15 February 2021. Companies had time till 15 February 2021 to file their annual financial statements without paying the penalty.

We are now past the extension, and there is no further notification from MCA regarding the extension of the filing deadline or fee waiver. If you are yet to file your AOC-4 forms, a reliable XBRL partner is what you need to file your forms without further delay.

A dependable service provider can turnaround your XBRL files quickly without errors and ease the pressure of last-minute compliance.
