Last date for filing Form AOC-4 (XBRL) for FY 18-19 extended by MCA

The MCA has released a circular on 29 October 2019 extending the deadline for filing of various e-forms for the financial year ending 31 March 2019.

Extended date for filing Form AOC-4 (XBRL)

In its General Circular 13/2019, the MCA has notified that it is extending the filing deadline for e-forms AOC-4, AOC (CFS), AOC-4 (XBRL) to 30 Nov 2019, and  e-form MGT-7 to 31 Dec 2019, in view requests from various stakeholders. Additionally, it has also confirmed that there will be no levy of additional fees for filing within the extended deadlines. Any submissions made after these revised deadlines would be subjected to that usual late submission penalty.

This should come as a welcome relief to companies that are required to file these forms under Companies Act 2013 but haven’t already completed the submission. The extension would give them more time to make sure their forms and supporting documents are thoroughly reviewed and filed with accuracy.
