The new Form N-PORT recently adopted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires Registered Funds to electronically disclose portfolio reports that include a series level of data every month. The regulation is applicable to all registered investment companies and exchange-traded funds organized as unit investment trusts, except for money market funds and small business investment companies.
For every fund, the report requires 500+ data points to be filled that are consistent with validation rules provided by the regulator. In addition, the output must be in XML format when submitting to the SEC. As a result, the filing mechanism becomes complex and cumbersome.
DataTracks simplifies the entire process by providing a user-friendly, cloud-based reporting service to generate ready-to-file XML reports for the SEC.
